We are sad that we are not able to host our regular camp program this summer but we are excited about our first-ever Camp @ Home program.

This summer, NPC will be creating Camp @ Home kits for families to enjoy a little bit of camp in their own home. Each week for four weeks (starting July 6), a kit will be delivered to participating families which will include a craft, an outdoor activity, a story and a snack, plus conversation starters and a prayer for around the dinner table. There will also be a once-a-week optional online gathering where camp leaders will check-in, demonstrate crafts and/or elaborate on the week’s theme (Tuesdays at 10 a.m., July 7, 14, 21, 28 for 15-20 minutes). Our theme for this summer is “ReNew” and we will be having fun exploring nature and growing in our faith.

If you’d like to register for the Camp @ Home program, email info@nassagaweya.com with your address, names and ages of your children, any delivery instructions* and the weeks you would like to participate. Registration deadline is June 28th.

To ensure the health and safety of campers, kits will be put together ahead of time and delivery volunteers will follow provincial health guidelines. Further safety instructions will follow after registration. The kits are free but if you’d like to make a donation, you can do so by sending an e-transfer to treasurer@nassagaweya.com or by using the Canada Helps link on our webpage.
